Volunteers Needed!
Thank you for your interest in our organization.
The NCCCC was formed under the Americorps Program
and the New York State Emergency Management Office
as a Town committee tasked with coordinating volunteer
efforts with the Town’s Emergency Plan. Specifically,
our first mission is to organize a group of volunteers
trained to open and run an emergency/disaster shelter
in our Town, should there ever be a need. We are
partners with the American Red Cross, which provides
excellent training for our volunteers, free of charge.
We also can offer other educational and training
opportunities through other governmental emergency
preparedness agencies.
We offer the opportunity for interested residents
to meaningfully participate in an important Town
function, one vital to every resident. Our goal
is to train and educate our citizens to respond
to emergency and disaster situations in our Town.
We will be running training programs in the fall,
which are offered to all members free of charge.
You will find the training to be useful to you and
your family, as well as to the community.
Except in summertime or holidays, NCCCC's monthly
meeting is held at 7PM on the 4th Tuesday of each
month at the new Armonk Firehouse. Check the schedule
by contacting Michael Schiliero, Chair, at 914-643-9017.
